Mother Dressing Daughter, 10x8 (framed)

2.00 LBS

About this Painting

This small canvas, one of the artist's few portraits, features the artist's wife dressing their daughter after an overnight hospital stay for dehydration.  Both are overtired.  The painting focuses on the mother's loving attention to the often repeated process while the child, having stopped struggling, gives in to the procedure.  Painted roughly, in many places it is difficult to discern mother from daughter.  They are bonded.

Framing.  The work is presented in a classic gold frame with wide white linen liner. This work was framed at the artist's direction to hang at his residence.
